Description

This kit is used for the in vitro quantitative detection of heart-type fatty acid binding protein (H-FABP) content in human serum/plasma or whole blood samples.
H-FABP is a soluble cytoplasmic protein rich in cardiac myocytes, accounting for about 4~8% of the total soluble protein in human body. It mainly exists in the ventricles with few in the atriums. The release of H-FABP into the blood will occur in 0.5~1.5 hours after the onset of AMI (acute myocardial infarction, whose most common symptom is chest pain), and the H-FABP content will rise significantly in 2~3h, and peak in 6~12h. Therefore, H-FABP is a useful marker with high specificity for the early diagnosis of AMI.
This product should be used together with the fluorescence lateral flow immunoassay analyzer produced by Prometheus Bio Inc. It can be used in medical and healthcare institutions, third-party medical testing institutions.
