Description
This kit is used for the in vitro quantitative detection of Microalbuminuria (mALB) concentration in human urine samples.
Albumin is a plasma albumin produced by the liver with a molecular weight of 66KD. It has a negative charge in the plasma environment and is not easy to pass through the pore diameter barrier and charge barrier of the glomerular basement membrane. However, white eggs in the original urine are almost completely reabsorbed in renal tubules, with a daily output of only 10-30mg. When early renal damage occurs, albumin can penetrate into the urine through the glomerular basement membrane, and the albumin excretion in the urine is significantly higher than normal, and the concentration is usually between 20 and 200mg/L, thus forming Microalbuminuria. In recent years, many studies have shown that ualbumin is not only a predictor of diabetic nephropathy and hypertensive nephropathy, but also an independent risk factor of cardiovascular disease. Therefore, the detection of urinary microalbumin has important clinical value.
Microalbuminuria is widely used in clinical practice. Microalbumin is a very sensitive indicator of kidney disease and injury.
This product should be used together with the fluorescence lateral flow immunoassay analyzer produced by Prometheus Bio Inc. It can be used in medical and healthcare institutions.
